About This Item
When the going gets tough . . . When you’ve been let down repeatedly . . . When you’ve failed over and over again . . .
In those moments, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and lost. Failure can leave us feeling defeated and ashamed. But the truth is, failure is a part of being human. We can’t earn our way into love, acceptance, or heaven, and life isn’t about success versus failure.
Based on his book, Three Strikes, You’re Forgiven, in this four-session video study pastor Micah E. Davis invites us to let go of our restless pursuit of perfection and to find rest in Christ. He shares powerful spiritual truths about forgiveness and grace, guiding us through four necessary acts: forgiving others, asking for forgiveness, forgiving ourselves, and forgiving God.
In this video series, Micah shows us how forgiveness, mercy, reconciliation, and redemption can free us from bitterness and anger, releasing us into a life of peace, joy, and love.

Video Session Summaries:
o Session One: Forgiving Others (16:41)— In this first session, Micah explores the tension between justice and mercy, asking how we can forgive those who have wronged us without minimizing the hurt they’ve caused. Through Scripture, story, and reflection, we’ll discover how forgiveness is less a formula and more a refining process that leads to healing, restoration, and deeper intimacy with God.
o Session Two: Asking for Forgiveness (15:05)— In this session, you’ll discover what it means to be on the receiving end of forgiveness. Through the story of David—a man both deeply flawed and yet called “a man after God’s own heart”—Micah explores how remorse, repentance, and God’s grace bring renewal and hope, even when we feel least deserving.
o Session Three: Forgiving Yourself (14:01)— Micah explores the hardest kind of forgiveness—forgiving ourselves. Through Scripture, powerful stories, and the image of kintsugi, he shows how God’s grace restores our brokenness and frees us to live forgiven.
o Session Four: Forgiving God (16:30)— In this final session, Micah tackles one of the hardest questions of faith—how to reconcile with a God who feels absent in our pain—and shows how Christ’s suffering opens the way to trust, healing, and a forgiving future.
