Video Session Summaries:

o   Session One: Rediscovering the Real Messiah — Kyle and Mark will help you explore what it means to truly know Jesus as the Messiah, not a customized version we’ve created, but the revolutionary King revealed in Scripture. This session focuses on identity, who Jesus truly is, and why getting that answer right changes everything else.

o   Session Two: The Morphing Messiah — In this session, you will look at how cultural assumptions can reshape our understanding of Jesus. Kyle and Mark will help you recognize the difference between faithfully contextualizing the gospel and allowing culture to morph the Messiah into something he never claimed to be. This session specifically focuses on culture—how our social, political, and personal assumptions quietly reshape the Messiah if we are not careful.

o   Session Three: Discovering the Messiah — Kyle and Mark examine the prophetic promises that pointed to the Messiah centuries before Jesus was born. They unpack how through Scripture we can see how God wove messianic expectations throughout Israel’s history, creating a portrait that Jesus perfectly fulfilled. Participants will focus on Scripture, returning to the prophets and promises that anchor our understanding of the Messiah in God’s revealed word rather than human expectation.

o   Session Four: The Messiah No One Saw Coming — This session explores how Jesus surpassed every expectation and exceeded every comparison. Participants will be invited to focus on expectation, how Jesus fulfills God’s promises while simultaneously shattering the expectations people brought to Him.

o   Session Five: The Comeback that Proved His Messiahship — Throughout this session, you will examine the resurrection as not just a promise of your own future resurrection but as the event that established Jesus as the reigning King. Kyle and Mark will help you see how the resurrection is the linchpin of Jesus messiahship and what it means to live under his authority today. This session focuses on resurrection authority, the moment when God publicly vindicated Jesus as Messiah and King by raising Him from the dead.

o   Session Six: Following the Messiah Together — In this last session, you will explore what it means to move from being a fan of Jesus to becoming his follower. You will examine the rabbi-disciple relationship, the cost of authentic discipleship, and why following Jesus cannot be done alone. Kyle and Mark will challenge you to consider whether you are truly apprenticing under Jesus or simply admiring him from a distance.
