About This Item
What if your pain is the very place where Jesus wants to meet you?
We have all experienced hurt—broken relationships, fear, betrayal, family struggles, shame and more. Yet Scripture shows us Jesus constantly steps into the lives of hurting people and offers transformation. He moves toward their pain, not away from it.
In this six-session companion to the book Collide, Willow Weston invites you on a journey to experience powerful moments in the Bible when Jesus collided with people that were wounded, outcast, and broken—and to discover how He wants to meet with you, too. The Collide Bible Study explores the healing power of Jesus through His collisions with people like Peter who was overwhelmed by failure; the Samaritan woman, shattered by her past; and Lazarus, called from death to life.
Through these stories and in this 6-week Bible study, you’ll discover:
· how Jesus meets people in their brokenness, not after they’ve cleaned up their lives
· what these biblical encounters reveal about God’s heart for the hurting
· why healing your hurt helps you offer healing to others
· ways to engage with God’s Word so you experience the real, living, powerful Jesus showing up in your life to bring healing …and more
Whether you’re walking through this study on your own or gathering with a small group, the Collide Bible Study is an invitation to experience real connection, spiritual growth, deeper healing, and renewed hope through the presence of Jesus.

Video Session Summaries:
o Session One: I’m Not Fines (12:03) — Willow will help us see Jesus collide with a paralyzed man whose friends carried him to the feet of Christ—an act of courage, vulnerability, and faith. This story challenges our tendency to self-protect and reminds us that God heals when we let others carry us and when we bravely carry others.
o Session Two: Thirst Traps (15:06) — In this session, we’ll watch Jesus collide with the woman at the well, exposing her deepest thirst and offering living water that never runs dry. Her story challenges us to examine the wells we run to for satisfaction and discover the fullness only Jesus can provide.
o Session Three: If you Hads (9:01) — Willow uses the story of Mary and Martha’s collision with Jesus in the midst of grief, anger, and disappointment over the death of their brother, Lazarus and invites us to bring our deepest emotions honestly to God, trusting that true healing begins when we grieve with Him.
o Session Four: The Over and Over Again (11:47) — As we watch Peter collide with Jesus over the question of forgiveness—we will be challenged by Jesus’ call to forgive far beyond what we think is reasonable. Through His teaching and parable, we’ll discover how true forgiveness draws us closer to God, frees our hearts, and has the power to transform our relationships and the world around us.
o Session Five: Getting Unstuck (11:43) — In this session, we’ll see Jesus collide with a man who had been stuck for thirty-eight years, showing us how easily we, too, can become trapped in unhealthy patterns and powerless mindsets. Through one piercing question and a simple directive, Jesus offers the freedom to get unstuck and move forward in His power.
o Session Six: Get Out of the Boat (14:57) — In the last session, Willow teaches through the story of when Jesus stepped out of the boat to collide with a man bound by isolation and torment—showing us His willingness to move toward the hurting. His example challenges us to leave comfort behind and courageously enter others’ pain to bring hope and healing.
